Following a recent internal promotion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Service Desk Analyst to join the busy IT Team in Birkenhead.

Service Desk Analyst Duties:

  • 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Emergency out of hours support (24/7) on a rota basis
  • Provide technical support to users of hardware and software across a wide range of devices, such as PC's, laptops, thin clients, smartphones and tablets
  • Ensure customers can access high quality services in accordance with published service standards

Service Desk Analyst Requirements:

  • Positive and enthusiastic personality
  • A passion for technology and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential
  • Experience of working on an IT Service Desk, with a detailed knowledge of Microsoft products including Windows 10, Office 365 applications, Active Directory, Windows Server and Exchange
  • Experience of telephony systems administration
  • Recognised IT qualification is desirable

About the Company:

This is a permanent full-time role, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In addition, the role provides emergency out of hours support (24/7) on a rota basis, and occasionally works out of hours (evening and weekend) or during holiday periods. The role is based in our client's modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral. The office is easily accessible from most transport links with just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby.
